During my traineeship at Bravoure in Amsterdam, I had the opportunity to create content for Cliq.de, a German streaming platform. My task was to design a small motion to transition users from the main part of the website to the kids section, while communicating that they were still on the same website in no more than 3 seconds. Additionally, I needed to adhere to the platform's existing visual guidelines and ensure that the motion design was effective for both desktop and mobile users.
To start the project, I met with the main designer who provided me with a few keywords that defined the vibe of the motion, such as friendly, bouncy, circles, playful, simple, surprising, and colorful. With these parameters in mind, I was free to explore various ideas and sketches. Using After Effects, I quickly animated my ideas to determine the most effective concept.
Ultimately, we decided to focus on the word 'Kids' and the existing logo. The final motion features the logo being built to smoothly transition users to the kids section. To enhance the experience, I selected a sound from Cliq's audio library and edited the animation to match the audio.
